What happens when love has hurt you?
After heartbreak, disappointment, abandonment, or loss, it can feel safer to protect your heart rather than opening it. You may find yourself longing for connection while simultaneously fearing vulnerability, rejection, or getting hurt again.
Together, we’ll explore the ways our hearts and bodies protect us after loss, and how we can re-create safety within ourselves. Through mindfulness, somatic practices, reflection, and heart-centered exercises, you’ll have an opportunity to listen to what your heart needs.
This workshop is not about rushing into another relationship or “getting over” what happened. It’s about developing courage to stay connected to yourself while making room for possibility again.
Come explore what it might mean to love again, starting with yourself.
Friday, September 25th 6:30pm - 8:30pm

A supportive workshop for navigating life transitions, embracing change, and reconnecting with what matters most.
Life doesn’t always unfold the way we imagined. Sometimes a chapter ends through loss, a move, a relationship change, a shift in identity, a career transition, or simply because we’ve outgrown the life we once knew.
And, even when change is something we choose, stepping into what comes next can feel uncertain.
Becoming is an invitation to pause, reflect, and gently explore who you are becoming as you move into your next chapter.
Co-facilitated by Leigh and Nina, this experiential workshop offers a supportive space to acknowledge what has been lost or left behind, and make room for a new sense of purpose.
Together we will explore:
What it means to navigate a major life transition
The grief that can accompany change
Who we have been, who we are now, and who we are becoming
Through mindfulness, somatic practices, reflection, guided exercises, and meaningful conversation, you’ll be invited to slow down and listen inwardly to your body, your heart, and the parts of you that may be ready for something new.
Becoming is about discovering what is emerging within you and creating space for the next version of your life to unfold.
You don’t have to know exactly where you’re going to begin.
Friday October 16th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

A 2-hour Therapeutic Yoga Journey for Anxiety and Nervous System Regulation
In this Yoga Journey, we will meet our anxiety and explore its impact on our nervous system and body.
Set in the cozy mountain surroundings of downtown Squamish, this restorative focused journey offers a space to slow down and safely connect with what is happening beneath our anxiety.
Through gentle restorative yoga, somatic practices, mindfulness, psychoeducation, and guided discussion, we’ll explore the relationship between anxiety, the nervous-system, the body, and our sense of safety.
We’ll discuss the ways that anxiety has been showing up for us physically, emotionally, and behaviourally. Together, we’ll explore practical ways to support regulation, cultivate awareness, and develop a more compassionate relationship with anxious responses.
The intention of this time together is not to fix anxiety, but an invitation to listen differently and discover what your anxiety is communicating while discovering ways to meet it with curiosity, compassion, and care.
Anxiety can also be an important and unspoken part of the grief experience. Following significant loss or life change, our sense of safety and predictability can be profoundly disrupted, and anxiety can emerge alongside grief. While this workshop is not necessarily grief focused, the practice explored here can be especially supportive for anyone navigating periods of change, uncertainty, and loss.
Come as you are. No previous yoga experience is necessary.
Join me for a cozy afternoon in the mountains to pause, breathe, understand your nervous system, and find an anchor of safety within during tumultuous times.
Sunday November 1st from 1pm - 3pm
Located at The Yoga Studio in beautiful Squamish, BC: 37776 2nd Ave.

This is a heart-based practice for anyone moving through heartache, disappointment, change, or just feeling a need for a little tenderness.

Grief is like the ocean. It comes in waves. Some are gentle. Some knock us off our feet. And sometimes, the only thing we can do is learn how to move with them.
Join Leigh for a restorative half-day experience of somatic movement, yoga, mindfulness, and nature-based practices designed to support you in finding moments of calm while moving through grief and life’s transitions.
Set near the ocean in beautiful Brittania Beach, this immersive retreat invites you to slow down, reconnect with your body, and experience the healing presence of nature.
Through gentle yoga postures, breath, guided ocean meditation, reflection, and nature-based rituals, we will explore the metaphor of grief as waves. We will learn how to notice what rises, allow what is here, and find our anchors when the water feels unsettled.
Weather and conditions permitting, we may step outside for a gentle walk toward the ocean, allowing the landscape itself to become part of the practice. We’ll work with stones, shells, and treasures from the shore as invitations for reflection, grounding, and rememberance.
This is a space to pause from the busyness of life and simply be held by the rhythm of the sea.
Come breathe. Come move. Come listen. Come find your calm by the sea.
All grief is welcome.
